I can’t wait to read all of these series. Cassandra Clare is absolutely amazing writing all these books and making a new world in our already existing one.

While on her UK tour for City of Heavenly Fire, Cassandra Clare shared that she and some of her author friends will be writing short stories about Simon Lewis from The Mortal Instruments. During the London Q & A and our following interview, Cassie told us the tentative title and now she has taken to her tumblr to announce the 10 titles of Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy

I’m holding off also on saying too much about Academy until we nail down dates — it will be ten stories, like the Bane Chronicles, and like the Bane Chronicles will end up as a print book eventually. The stories cover Simon’s arrival at the Academy through to his Ascension Ceremony, but a lot of them also time-hop: back to 1830, 1893, 1900, to the time of the Circle and some switch perspectives. Book Blurb:  She obediently takes her meds and stays under the radar at school. After “the incident,” Olive just wants to avoid any more trouble, so she knows the smartest thing is to stay clear of the new girl who is rumored to have quite the creepy past.

But there’s no avoiding Miranda Vaile. As mousy Miranda edges her way into the popular group, right up to the side of queen bee Katie – and pushes the others right out – only Olive seems to notice that something strange is going on. Something almost . . . parasitic. Either Olive is losing her grip on reality, or Miranda Vaile is stealing Katie’s life.

But who would ever believe crazy Olive, the girl who has a habit of letting her imagination run away with her? And what if Olive is the next target?

Review:
I read this book on holiday in Italy. The problem was that because it’s so hot their you need to keep the curtains closed to keep it cool. This made inside quite shaded, making it kind of scary to read such a psychological thriller. The story is about a girl who always starts off plain, no noticeable features. but then strange things happen to those who are around her and she hangs out with. It is told from Olive’s perspective as the girl who used to be popular watching an ex friend have this happen. Nobody else seems to nice this but her. The story took a while to get into but after the first few chapters I swear it must have been glues to my hand. I could not let it go. After the popular girl is through with the tormentation of this girl, it is Olive’s turn. Will she fall for those same tricks?
Shift also have a bit of romance in it between Olive and Lachlan, to be honest with you, I have no idea how to pronounce his name. I think someone told me it was luck-lan though i’m not too sure.
The cover of this book is quite cool. I like the whole thing with the different strips of faces and that actually gives you quite a lot of information about what the book is about.
